About Howard Richmond
Howard has trained with Master Kam Chuen Lam, a world renowned Chi Kung and Tai Chi Master from Hong Kong, for over 30 years. For much of that time he has been authorised by Master Lam to be an instructor. Howard has taught Tai Chi classes in Islington and at the Royal College of Nursing, where he works. He has found the practice to be an important influence on his life, enhancing the enjoyment of his other activities, in particular dancing, singing and meditation. It has also improved his health and well-being, and helped him to cope with the stress of a busy legal practice.
About Robin Rubenstein
Howard’s partner, Robin Rubenstein, has also been a long-standing student of Master Lam’s. She is a pianist and Alexander Technique teacher and finds energy work the missing ingredient in her other pursuits. She has taught in Camden and gives workshops called “Keeping Body and Soul Together” with writer and therapist Caroline Wilson, which combine Chinese exercises and mind-body work with writing.
